Escape Lab is a networked social, collaborative VR game that explores how VR could be used as a means to encourage (and sometimes, force) collaboration and communication in games. It is based on the typical ‘escape room’ experience, and is set in a Chemistry lab where a poison has leaked, and 2 players need to unlock a series of puzzles to form the antidote. The two players are separated by a glass barrier, allowing them to see the other side, but not cross over. While there are puzzles on both sides of the room, a player can only solve a puzzle by seeking help from the player on the other side, where the clue would be.
